The aim of this role is to accelerate early-career talent development by placing graduates into real, business-critical teams whilst supporting them through in-house training and global functional exposure.  

 


What you will be doing:  
 

  • The Graduate AI & Automation Practitioner supports the identification, design and implementation of automation and AI enabled solutions that streamline workflows and improve productivity. The role focuses on low code/no code automation, ethical AI adoption and the creation of efficient, scalable digital processes across RS Group.
  • Support the mapping, analysis and documentation of business processes to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities. 
  • Help design, build and test automated workflows using low code/no code tools (e.g. Power Automate, Zapier, Make). 
  • Ensure ethical, safe and compliant use of AI and automation tools. 
  • Work with functional teams to implement new digital workflows and support user adoption. 
  • Monitor automation performance and iterate based on user feedback and system data. 
  • Provide documentation, training and guidance for operational teams. 
  • Work with global and local stakeholders to understand needs and deliver practical digital solutions. 
  • Support change management and promote digital awareness across the organisation.


 

Really useful experience would include:
 

  • Degree in any discipline, ideally with exposure to digital, analytical or process improvement topics.
  • Interest in digital tools, automation or process improvement 
  • Experience using technology to solve problems (academic or project-based) 
  • Strong analytical and process mapping skills 
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement capability 
  • Curiosity and willingness to experiment with new technologies
