The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Head of Customer Management Platforms and working under the day-to-day technical leadership and direction of the Principal Engineer, this role is responsible for enabling secure, reliable and scalable movement of data between customer management platforms, enterprise systems and analytical platforms.

 

The role supports the technical delivery, operation and continuous improvement of integration capabilities across the Customer Management Platforms estate, ensuring consistent engineering standards, architectural alignment and operational excellence.

 

What You Will Be Doing

Integration Engineering & Data Management

  • Design, build and support integrations across Customer Management Platforms and enterprise applications.
  • Develop API, event-driven and batch integration solutions using Informatica CDI/CAI and approved architectural patterns.
  • Support data movement, transformation and synchronisation across Salesforce, Treasure Data, Informatica Customer 360, Snowflake, SAP and related platforms.
  • Implement reusable integration standards and ensure data flows are reliable, scalable and secure.
  • Support onboarding of new data sources and downstream consumers.

Platform Operations & Support

  • Monitor and support production integration services and data pipelines.
  • Implement proactive monitoring, alerting and operational dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis and support incident and problem management activities.

Technical & Engineering Excellence

  • Collaborate with the Principal Engineer to align with platform architecture, technical standards and engineering best practices.
  • Contribute to technical design, platform roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain technical documentation, testing, automation and CI/CD practices.
  • Ensure compliance with security, audit and data governance requirements.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Advanced SQL expertise with 5+ years' experience in Data Engineering or Integration Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI), Cloud Application Integration (CAI) and ETL/ELT development.
  • Proven experience designing, building and supporting enterprise data integrations.
  • Experience integrating cloud platforms, enterprise applications and data services.
  • Snowflake data engineering experience.
  • REST API development and integration experience.
  • Strong understanding of event-driven integration and system-to-system connectivity.
  • Data modelling and data quality principles.
  • CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, observability and operational support practices.
  • Agile delivery experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working across multiple teams, suppliers and technology platforms.
  • Understanding of data privacy, security and compliance requirements.
