ABOUT THE ROLE
Highly skilled and motivated Development Team Leader to oversee the design, development, and deployment of customer and supplier related integrations, APIs, and middleware using MuleSoft and other modern technologies. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in integration platforms, API development/management, and network security, along with strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Compenation: $130K - $150K
SCHEDULE: Hybrid - Onsite Tues and Wed | Work from home on Mon, Thurs and Fri
Direct Reports: No formal direct reports at this time; provides leadership and oversight for 4 contract integration resources
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Project Delivery
This role currently provides leadership and oversight for a team of contract integration resources and may evolve into a formal people-management position as the organization grows.
• Lead and mentor a team of integration developers.
• Drive technical excellence, code quality, and best practices within the team.
• Collaborate regularly with project managers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver integration solutions on time and within budget.
• Drive adoption of DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Support career development of team members and provide feedback on performance.
• Oversee execution of roadmap objectives relating to integrations initiatives..
Architecture & Development
•Oversee design of scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and other tools.
•Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, security standards and best practices.
•Provide hands-on coding, prototyping, and troubleshooting as needed.
•Advise on technical solutions and best practices for integration patterns and the appropriate implementation and utilization of technical platforms including Mulesoft Anypoint Platform
Security & Compliance
•Ensure integration solutions meet enterprise network security policies and industry compliance requirements (e.g., OAuth 2.0, TLS, encryption).
•Partner with InfoSec and Infrastructure teams to establish and maintain a performant technical environment and ensure adherence to company policies
Monitoring & Support
•Provide Level 2 support and guide incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.

Required:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
•7+ years of experience in software development, with 3+ years leading development teams.
•Deep expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including runtime, connectors, DataWeave, and API Manager.
•Strong experience with RESTful/SOAP APIs, microservices architecture, and API security protocols.
•Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, proxies, and secure data transmission.
•Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and version control.
•Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).
•Experience implementing integration solutions and working with flat files, XML, XSD, XSLT, cXML, JSON, SOAP, REST APIs
•Experience with message queues
•Experience with relational databases and SQL

•Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred:
•MuleSoft Developer or Architect certification.
•Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
•Knowledge of integration with ERP, CRM, or legacy systems.
•Familiarity with supply chain operations and related business processes.
•Experience working with eProcurement Systems (Coupa, Ariba, GEP, etc.) and EDI
