Location: This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and from our Corby office.

The Opportunity
As the Digital Merchandising Executive, you will manage the day-to-day merchandising of your category customer experience online and put actions in place to ensure successful achieving of the commercial results across digital. You will work collaboratively – and successfully – across all areas of the business. This role focuses on delivering best in class Digital Merchandising for your category of responsibility ensuring that customers are fully able to shop successfully across our website. You will use insight and analysis to drive through new initiatives which focus on the customer to drive revenue, conversion, basket growth and customer engagement.
What You Will Be Doing
- Take ownership of tracking key metrics at a global level, for the category and for brands, including run rates on visits, revenue, AOV, conversion, and search trends, and create actions to improve these.
- Supply weekly, monthly, and quarterly global sales reports to optimise the customer experience and achieve KPIs.
- Be responsible for best-in-class digital merchandising through effective planning, briefing, and review of campaigns and promotions.
- Work collaboratively with the Digital Merchandising Manager, Digital Merchandising Lead and category teams to understand category, supplier and digital strategy, and create category plans that align with the assortment strategy.
- Ensure strong communication with key stakeholders on short-term goals, hold weekly planning meetings, and highlight any project risks.
- Monitor competition and use customer insights to identify customer problems or opportunities and create action plans to optimise the customer journey.
- Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, strategic brands, services, and external suppliers.
- Use presentation and influencing skills to advocate for digital merchandising investments and deputise for the Digital Merchandising Manager when needed.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum of 18 months experience in a B2B or B2C Digital Merchandising role.
- Proficient in using tools such as Adobe Analytics, BrightEdge, and Google Trends, with the ability to communicate insights and recommendations to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Understanding of the digital landscape, digital merchandising principles, KPIs, levers, systems, and broader B2B and B2C environments.
- Familiarity with content management systems.
- Strong communication, presentation, decision-making, and commercial judgement skills, with the ability to prioritise and deal effectively with fast-changing scenarios.
- Proactively identifies issues and opportunities to improve UX and CX and contributes to shaping the digital product roadmap to ensure optimised CX.
- Demonstrates a strong customer focus and can secure support, build relationships, and influence stakeholders, agencies, suppliers, and organisations to achieve set goals.
- Possesses a can-do attitude, is a self-starter, and can manage and prioritise workload.
- Passionate and enthusiastic about Ecommerce, with experience in online B2B and/or B2C environments, including performance marketing, digital marketing channels, and SEO principles.
- Engages teams and commercial functions to drive a ‘digital mindset’ shift across the organisation, with the confidence, tenacity, and resilience to represent the function at key forums and build strong relationships with strategic suppliers.
