We love making amazing things happen for our customers in the Energy & Utilities sector, and we have an opening on our Corporate Accounts team for an individual who thrives on building great, collaborative relationships with key customers and internal teams to help everyone deliver brilliantly!

As a member of RS components’ EMEA Corporate Account team, the EMEA Corporate Account Manager assumes direct responsibility for the Global and EMEA corporate accounts in the assigned portfolio and assumes indirect accountability for the consistent roll-out in the region with close collaboration with the individual country teams. This will be done via a “top-down” approach via the management of the Global and EMEA portfolio as well as supporting a “bottom-up” approach via the country teams. 


What you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of EMEA Corporate Customers either as lead Account Manager or as local lead within the assigned geography 
  • Developing a specific sales strategy for each customer within the portfolio to optimise sales and profitability 
  • Leading and Coordinating actions with internal sales corporate organisations in countries and customer central, national functions 
  • Forecasting and managing the budget: sales, margin and ROI of the contracts belonging to the portfolio 
  • Market analysis (industry sector), competition and trends 
  • Project managing and facilitating the deployment of contracts across all markets and regions 
  • Coordinating support from other functions such as supply chain, logistics, digital, finance, technical and marketing 
  • Ensuring consistency of compliance programs across all markets and regions 
  • Identification of service development opportunities to enhance the RS Offer and expand customer penetration 
  • Be the single point of contact for any future EMEA opportunities which are presented to the market 
  • Contract negotiation including commercial and legal terms and conditions to the mutual benefit and agreement of both parties 
  • Capturing and updating customer organisation charts to identify diverse key decision makers with the objective of developing contracts 
  • Qualify all EMEA leads coming from EMEA corporate teams 
  • Prospecting and acquisition of new cross border opportunities 
  • Identification and implementation of e-commerce solutions 


What we are looking for from you:

  • A proven and successful track record in a senior corporate account management position with responsibility for a portfolio of accounts in the upper tens or hundreds of millions of Euros range.  
  • Proven Sales Leadership and commercial results across large and complex global accounts 
  • Proven experience of commercial strategy development resulting in positive bottom line results 
  • Proven ability to drive execution and growth through cross-functional initiatives and processes  
  • Experience of working for a company of scale and / or complexity that either provides value added services in respect to clients' indirect procurement needs, experience of working on a multi-country or pan-EMEA basis  
  • Strategic and commercial approach with demonstrable knowledge of the purchasing patterns and behaviors of corporate customers. In possession of proven operational and project management ability and capable of working with multiple stakeholders, service providers, suppliers, etc.  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a natural leader and team player who has the ability to influence across organizational and cultural boundaries.  
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to the needs of the company as it continues to develop and grow. 
  • Fluent in English and any other language is appreciated 
  • Proven intercultural skills
