At RS Group, we're investing in the future of Artificial Intelligence and digital customer experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Customer Experience (CX) Team as an AI Product Analyst, where you'll help shape the next generation of AI-powered customer journeys while working towards a Level 6 Machine Learning apprenticeship qualification. 

 

About the Role

 

As an AI Product Analyst, you'll work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Product Management, Data Analytics, and Customer Experience. You'll help develop AI-powered capabilities that make it easier for customers to find the right products, information, and solutions across our digital channels. 

Initially focused on our Conversational Search capability, you'll work closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Data Scientists, UX specialists, and business stakeholders to help shape AI use cases from concept through to delivery. You'll support experimentation, analyse performance, validate AI outputs, and help drive the continuous improvement of AI-powered customer experiences. 

This is an ideal opportunity for graduates who are excited by Generative AI, Machine Learning, Search Technologies, Data Analytics, and Digital Product Development, and want hands-on experience in one of the fastest-growing areas of technology. 

 

What You'll Be Doing

 

You'll gain practical experience across the full AI product lifecycle, including:

You will support the development of Proof of Concepts across the Customer Experience function and portfolio, this could include: 

 

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis on large, complex or fast‑moving datasets.  
  • Support applied research and prototype development for AI & Machine Learning solutions.  
  • Assist with building and validating predictive, statistical or machine‑learning models.  
  • Contribute to data engineering workflows, including data preparation and pipeline optimisation.  
  • Support Machine Learning Operation practices such as model deployment, monitoring and performance tracking.  
  • Build dashboards, reporting tools and visual analytics that communicate insights clearly.  
  • Apply best practice in data ethics, governance and regulatory compliance.  
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions.  
  • Engage in continuous learning and stay current with emerging AI and data science trends.

  • Confidence working with data and drawing meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Understanding of Product Management principles, including backlog management and requirements gathering.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements.
  • Interest in AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Conversational Experiences.
  • Experience working with data, reporting, and analytical tools.
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to challenge existing thinking and learn new skills.

 

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience or exposure to any of the following would be advantageous:

  • AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science projects. 
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Conversational AI.
  • Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Search technologies, information retrieval, or recommendation systems.
  • SQL, Power BI, Adobe Analytics, or similar analytical tools.
  • AI evaluation frameworks, prompt engineering, or model performance testing.
  • User research, customer analytics, or experimentation frameworks.
