Join Our Finance Team as a Collections Manager for DACH & Benelux!

Are you an experienced credit and collections professional with a passion for leading high-performing teams across diverse European markets? We’re looking for a dynamic Collections Manager to oversee our Accounts Receivable operations for both the DACH and Benelux regions. In this key leadership role, you’ll manage and develop teams of Credit Controllers in each market, driving performance against cash collection, aged debt, and DSO targets.

Fluent in both German and English, and deeply familiar with the financial and legal landscapes of the DACH and Benelux markets, you’ll bring a proactive approach to credit risk, collections, and customer service. You’ll be instrumental in delivering outstanding results while fostering a positive, engaging team culture – all in line with RS Group’s Credit Policy and our commitment to operational excellence.

What you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role:

In this role, you’ll lead the Credit Control teams for the DACH and Benelux markets, ensuring the achievement of key targets related to cash collection, debtor management, and DSO. You’ll regularly review debtor ledgers to identify unallocated or misposted payments and ensure they’re corrected promptly.

A key part of your work will involve providing senior stakeholders with accurate, up-to-date information on debtor balances — including insightful month-end reports with commentary and follow-up actions.

You’ll play a vital role in maintaining strong governance and audit standards, working closely with country management teams while staying compliant with local legislation and ways of working. Your ability to recognise irrecoverable debts and support with bad debt provision will be essential.

In addition, you’ll contribute to accurate cash forecasting by generating detailed reports and monitoring communication through AR inboxes to ensure every customer receives timely attention. When necessary, you’ll also help prepare documentation to support legal actions related to overdue accounts.

You’ll also actively support internal projects focused on automation, operational excellence, system integrations, and the implementation of new tools and processes to drive continuous improvement across the AR function.

If you have the following skills and experience, we want to hear from you:

  • Fluency in German and English
  • Proven experience in credit management within a Shared Service Centre or GSBS environment
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Solid understanding of governance and audit requirements in AR processes
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across EMEA
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive performance through data and reporting

The Extras You’ll Get:

At RS, we offer a competitive and supportive benefits package designed to reward your contributions and support your well-being. Since we are recruiting for this role across multiple locations – Poland, Austria (Gmuend), and Latvia (Riga) – the specific benefits may vary by country and will be discussed with you during the recruitment process.
