Role Purpose
Working with our team based out of Smithfield, the Sales Analyst & Admin Specialist provides administrative support to the ANZ sales team. The Specialist is also responsible for developing and delivering innovative analytics, geographical performance, key performance indicators and the control of the customer base. The role will be a key point of contact between the Sales Team, Marketing, Finance and other departments.
What you will doing in this role….
Sales Analyst
- Provide strong contribution by driving sales efficiencies to support execution of the ANZ sales strategy.
- Equip the sales team with the right sales processes, tools, territories.
- Centralises, maintains and shares business processes and customer data to enable effective customer management and best practice functional execution.
- Deliver sales analytics in line with business requirements (Visual BI)
- Highlight commercial opportunity and risk identified through analytics.
- Model and govern best practice in the use of RS systems
- Local subject matter expert on reporting, systems, and processes.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement projects both in the local and regional markets.
- Constantly thinking about the future of sales and how RS operates in the market place to beat the competition
- Owns the internal planning process and methodology for the sales organisation (bottom up, top down, sales call planning, campaign creation etc.)
- Agreement and discount effectiveness for revenue growth and protection
- Customer spend insights – behavioural and demographic analysis
- Value creation and insight for corporate sales colleagues
- Revenue performance and performance against KPIs
Quotes & Tenders
- Quotations performance and insight
- Assist to coordinate the BOM / tenders / pricing with the sales teams when required
People / Capability accountability
- Support and influence ANZ Sales Managers
- Lead, support and influence key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of different projects
- Build a culture of coaching and mentoring within ANZ and support the identification of talent pools to ensure robust succession planning.
- Work across functions to determine innovation opportunities in analytics and processes
- Liaising with global functions to share, implement and develop best practice
General
- Manage the relationships with key stakeholders including internal and external customers and suppliers
- Establish effective two-way communication with Sales Managers and the APAC Sales Operations and Effectiveness teams
Finance and Sales Admin Support
- Assist in organizing and providing administrative support with company events (Annual Christmas Party and International day, Sales Conferences) and monthly Townhall meetings
- Providing support with inbound regional & group visitors
- Responsible for coordinating all local communications and sending through to ANZ teams
- Ensure office & meeting rooms are presented to a high standard
- Responsible for processing and arranging payments for all insurance claims, company vehicle registrations, CTP slips, infringement notices and raising purchase orders
- Manage all Credit Card applications & queries, monthly AMEX statement, sorting and sending all company invoices, adjustment and credit notes
- Setup new staff credit cards and manage users & credit limits in NAB connect
- Manage car leases & a key contact with the vendor regarding company cars
- Scan the cheques to the CoE team for processing & handover the physical cheques to the courier for banking and scan supplier invoices, dunning letters, employee expenses or other documentation as required to CoE team for processing & file hard copies locally
- Administration and processing of PR’s and PO’s in the MyRequisitions system
- Expense management and provide administration support to Sales Team

- Sales Performance Reporting and insights – creation of presentation packs for weekly sales and monthly Board meetings
- Exceptional user of Microsoft Excel (complex formulae, graphs, pivot tables)
- Constantly thinking about the future of sales and how RS operates in the market place to beat the competition

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of Visual Basic a huge advantage
- Experience in using Business Warehouse / Business Objects (SAP reporting suite)
- Experience of working within a global sales organisation
- Knowledge of continuous improvement
