Role Purpose
The Marketing Specialist II Role is an elevated role within the marketing team, where job function and execution is undertaken with a significant degree of autonomy. The role will aggressively execute the marketing department strategy as well as the ANZ Strategy Deployment working with all department leaders in the ANZ business as well as cross functional teams across APAC region and corporate teams globally.
Responsibilities
- To contribute to the development of the annual marketing strategy.
- To deploy and execute each area of the annual marketing strategy both on and offline areas will include but not limited to
- Digital activities / campaigns
- Lifecyle strategies
- Supplier engagement
- Sales growth programs
- Trade Shows and exhibitions
- To support internal communication process and ensure ANZ customer facing teams are aware of and understand all (Global, Regional and local) marketing campaigns. Provide feedback on process if improvements / developments are needed
- To work with APAC and other global marketing teams to share best practice and utilise resources outside of ANZ to bring efficiencies to expertise to ANZ team.
- To provide effective management of the ANZ catalogue distribution. This includes the catalogue cleanse campaign, the initial catalogue distribution, and the management of catalogues for ad hoc distribution
- To provide local insight into ANZ customer data to support the management / ongoing cleansing of customer data and the creation of mailing lists (online and offline)
- To support testing for online campaigns / emails reviewing test scripts and feeding back issues / errors to central ecommerce team
- To Liaise with third party and external marketing companies and PR firms
- To undertake administration and budgeting as required within the marketing department
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3 years+ marketing experience in a commercial environment preferably B2B
- Good knowledge of the key principles of marketing, eCommerce, media design, production, campaign management and execution
- Business / Marketing degree and/or Marketing Diploma
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
- Ability to communicate to all levels of the business
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver on time
- Strong project management and planning skills
- Ability to work independently, multitask and handle several projects at one time
