What you'll be doing in this role:

Achieve revenue targets for assigned corporate accounts by collaborating closely with the territory sales team.

Use data and reporting to forecast business trends, identify opportunities, and review contract performance against targets.

Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers to position RS as a strategic partner and increase supply share.

Understand procurement challenges and demonstrate how our partnership approach delivers sustainable value.

Lead customer meetings to align strategies, uncover business needs, and create contracts that ensure seamless execution across all levels.

Provide insights on KPIs, customer activity, market trends, and competitive landscape.

Foster teamwork internally and build external partnerships within a best-practice environment.

Stay informed on RS’s product range, technologies, and value-added services to deliver exceptional customer solutions.
What experience we expect from you:
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of Corporate Account Management or Strategic Business Development and proven track record in Sales, preferably in industrial business.
- Relevant experience within a technical high service level (HSL) & B2B environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and on own initiative.
- Results-driven with a focus on profit margin.
- Commercial awareness, particularly around cost of acquisition / profitability and procurement trends.
- E-commerce knowledge / experience.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Account management experience.
- Store and supply agreement / contract experience.
- The ability to cross reference products using specifications and technical parameters.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills
- IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and experience of using a CRM.
- Customer-focused attitude (internal and / or external).
- Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships at all levels.
