About the Role:
The Implementation Leader will effectively plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control all aspects of implementing RS Integrated Supply programs for the management of client’s in-plant storerooms. Additionally, Implementation Leaders are responsible for special project duties, such as, but not limited to: converting new client sites to satisfactory performance per plan objectives; providing site staff training on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); filling in for absent site staff Managers as needed and available, and supervising data conversion and migration projects. Additional duties may be required e.g. process documentation and participating in site operational and safety audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with Sr. Implementation Lead and or Director to identify resources for all implementations and assigned special projects.
- Leads or participates in completing implementation tasks to include parts data collection, development of operational and implementation procedures and completing physical inventory counts of current client owned MRO supplies with a goal of standardization and removing duplication.
- Leads or participate in assuring business standards for OPEX Implementation Audit
- Documents current procedures.
- Assists Sourcing / Procurement Department in identifying sources for parts and collecting site pricing.
- Participates with IT Department in building site data and troubleshooting data interfaces.
- Assists Director with the interview and hiring process for new and existing site staff as required, including temporary labor.
- Provides ongoing customer support and ensures smooth transition of sites from implementation to operations.
- Prepares weekly reports regarding current project status and makes recommendations as appropriate to keep projects on course:
- Develops and updates Microsoft Project Timeline.
- Produces data reports using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
- Produces Microsoft PowerPoint presentations for in-house and client viewing.
- Data Collection: collects manufacturer name and parts information using data collection templates or entry in Storeroom On-Site inventory management system.
- Between Implementation assignments, works on operational improvement projects, root-cause analysis and correction action plans. May provide ongoing training to problem sites and supervise data conversion and other SOS/CMMS related projects.
- Other duties as required including site operation & safety audits, implementation team member (instead of Leader) site staff assistance.
- Adhere to all RSIS EH&S guidelines, mandatory training etc

Candidate Requirements:
- Technical school, two-year college or associate’s degree required.
- Ability to establish productive working relationships with various levels of staff and management.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proficient user in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Access, MS Project, Microsoft PowerPoint, and strong Excel skills
- 5-8 years’ experience in project management or similar job.
- Experience with production and maintenance related materials including electrical, power transmission, safety, PVF and mill suppliers desired.
- Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience.
- Understanding and prior work with P&Ls and financial reporting.
Availability to travel 80% of time
