What you will be doing in this role
- Deliver regional sales performance by executing country-level strategies and contributing to profitability and operational excellence.
- Lead, coach, and inspire high-performing remote and onsite sales teams with clear goals and a customer-first mindset.
- Expand market presence by analyzing trends, identifying growth opportunities, and building strong relationships with key customers.
- Champion a customer-centric culture while managing segmentation and data to optimize sales performance and marketing impact.
- Collaborate across a matrixed organization to align on business priorities and deliver results.
- Support brand visibility through roadshows and expos, both on and off customer sites.
- Contribute to cost efficiency and timely reporting through market analysis and strategic insights.
What experience we expect from you
- Over 10 years B2B sales experience, including over 5 years of managing sales team in the Electronic or MRO industry.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills with a track record of team success. Experience of managing a team remotely is an advantage.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience in identifying customer needs and creating solutions.
- Proven track record in successful negotiations and contract delivery.
- Financial and business awareness with good analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiating and influencing skills.
- Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft packages.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Significant local experience in a Sales Management role in a large MRO supplier industry.
- Experience from a complex distribution business or solutions provider.
- Experience with MRO procurement strategy, eProcurement, sourcing solutions, or inventory solutions.
- Knowledge of specific sector customers and/or competitors (e.g., Manufacturing, Automotive, Industrial, Government, Aerospace, Defence, Transport, Utilities and FM).
