Inventory Planner, SEA

This role is to manage procurement of products and inventory services using effective sourcing, strong vendor relations, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
What you will doing in this role...
Procurement

Handle purchase requisitions and maintain procurement records.

Manage end-to-end procurement, supply chain, logistics, and inventory control processes.

Ensure timely delivery and communication between stakeholders.

Maintain strong supplier relationships to meet quality, cost, and service expectations.

Oversee purchasing operations and drive long-term cost savings.

Ensure inventory accuracy and appropriate stock levels.

Ensure compliance with audits and reporting standards.
-
Resolve quality or payment issues related to procurement.

Continuously improve workflows and systems.

Assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Inventory Management
-
Travel to meet vendors/suppliers.

Review stock levels using demand trends and backorder data.

Optimize inventory replenishment using appropriate reorder points and forecasts.

Reduce excess/obsolete stock through strategic initiatives.

Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce cost/risk.
What do I need to be successful?

Proven procurement experience with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and work independently or in teams.

Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in problem-solving.

Experience handling diverse sourcing requests and market awareness.

Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia preferred to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.

Skilled in Microsoft Office; shipping/logistics knowledge is a plus.
Desirable Skills

Experience in international settings with cultural sensitivity.

Familiarity with SAP systems
