This role aims to drive business growth by identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities within existing accounts. This involves building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and matching them with the right products. Additionally, the role aims to gather and communicate market intelligence, maintain high levels of customer service, and ensure accurate sales forecasting and reporting. Ultimately, the goal is to enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
Here Is More About What You Will Be Doing...
- Work closely with Field Sales to ensure that all initiatives and action plan in driving sales will be achieved accordingly
- Point of contact and make level 1 decision making based on the authority matrix when manager is unavailable
- Responsible for pursuing sales generating opportunities from existing or new customer accounts through telesales / marketing effort.
- Responsible for conducting daily & monthly sales activities in compliance with the standards or target set.
- Maintaining accurate customer records
- Conduct outbound cold calls into targeted accounts to promote RS products, Sales & Marketing Promotion and other relevant activities to drive sales.
- To achieve the daily and monthly sales target, search for new business opportunities in existing accounts through the identification of new contacts and sales opportunities. Follow up on all sales leads in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain effective and good inter-department relationships and procedures to deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- To create awareness on RS products and services by executing sales and marketing campaigns and road shows.
- Accountable to gather competitive information from customer and market feedback and communicate it to the Sales Management
- Ability to interact, communicate and participate effectively in the sale team activities and efforts to achieve overall team objectives.
- Drive customer acquisition through research, prospecting, callout and conversion.
- To support and work closely with Marketing, Customer Service, Credit and Territory teams to secure customer leads, drive acquisition and marketing programs and achieve good customer service leading to more promoters and achieving a high Net Promoter Score (NPS)
What existing skills and experience will you need to be successful in this opportunity?
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience in Telesales, Customer service or any Sales environment with Technical selling background
- Achieve sales targets and other specified metrics
- Commercial awareness, particularly around the cost of acquisition
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Have worked in an International organisation and able to demonstrate good cultural awareness and appreciation.
Desirable Experience
- Proven experience of working in an inbound/outbound call centre environment.
- Knowledge of SAP, CRM and Microsoft packages
