RS Group is searching for a proactive and strategic Global Manager Supply Chain Applications to join our growing team. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to head up our team of professionals focused on supporting our technologies with our exceptional business partners in Supply Chain . The role will have the opportunity to join a diverse and inclusive global IT organisation, collaborating closely with global business functions and develop high performing teams. You will play a vital role in empowering internal customers to optimize their processes and productivity, ensuring they achieve their business objectives. Your focus will be on the Supply Chain  processes, where you will contribute to solution assessment, technical design, implementation, and support, all while fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Leadership

  • Develop and implement technology solutions and processes aligned with supply chain goals, ensuring scalability and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership and ownership in collaboration with external solution partners.
  • Resolve technical issues and champion best practices across teams and platforms.
  • Contribute to global development initiatives by supporting planning, design, implementation, testing, and transition activities.

 

Team Management

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a global team of analysts and configuration experts.
  • Create a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive work environment that drives continuous improvement.

 

System Analysis

  • Oversee the design and architecture of supply chain systems to align with business goals and evolving technology standards.
  • Ensure configuration and implementation follow industry best practices.
  • Support integration and developer testing and ensure comprehensive documentation of implementations.
  • Take ownership of user and application support, leveraging external partners as needed.

 

Project Oversight

  • Collaborate with team members to develop software solution concepts and contribute to project execution with technical expertise and innovation.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with senior business leaders to gather requirements, define solutions, and improve user experiences across supply chain planning and optimization platforms.
  • Promote the adoption of standard, best-in-class out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Foster a culture of trusted advisory and partnership across business functions.
  • Act as a bridge between technology and business teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication.

Performance Optimization

  • Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement to enhance functionality and support business success.

Compliance & Security

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain robust data security protocols.

 

About You:
We’re looking for a forward-thinking and strategic leader with a strong background in supply chain technology. You’re someone who thrives in a global, fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence through innovative IT solutions.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience in supply chain planning and optimization technologies.
  • Hands-on expertise in system configuration and integration—especially with SAP platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage and inspire internal teams and collaborate effectively with external partners.
  • In-depth knowledge of platforms such as SAP EWM, Blue Yonder, SAP SCM, and SAP IBP.
  • Familiarity with Foreign Trade and Trade Services systems and processes.
  • A strategic, analytical mindset with a deep understanding of complex IT landscapes and global process integration.
  • Up-to-date with current trends and best practices in supply chain technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Skilled in change management and leading organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Passionate about building high-performing teams and delivering measurable business value.
