Are you a natural leader with a passion for coaching teams and delivering commercial success? We’re looking for an Internal Sales Team Leader to guide and develop our Internal Sales team in the Benelux region. In this pivotal role, you’ll mentor and empower a team of sales professionals to exceed revenue and margin targets, while unlocking their full potential through strong leadership and continuous improvement. You’ll report directly to the Sales Director Benelux and play a key role in shaping a high-performing, motivated sales environment.
What you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role:
In this role, you will take the lead in ensuring that the Internal Sales team consistently achieves its revenue and margin targets, while also playing a collaborative role in supporting the goals of our wider Customer Service, Operations, and Technical Support departments. You’ll take pride in developing, coaching, and guiding your team – helping each employee grow by identifying their strengths and putting tailored development and improvement plans into action where needed.
As a people-focused leader, you will regularly conduct performance, development, and progress meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment on expectations, while keeping records up to date in line with our internal processes. You’ll enjoy identifying opportunities to enhance team productivity, streamlining workflows and implementing new (sales) initiatives to create a more effective and impactful way of working.
You’ll play a key role in providing valuable reporting and analysis that helps track progress, measure results, and guide decision-making across the department. As a trusted advisor to the Sales Director, you’ll proactively share insights and recommendations on team performance and sales strategies.
Most importantly, you’ll help foster a culture of proactive selling, where the team actively engages with a defined group of regional customers to drive growth and identify new opportunities. You'll support and guide the team in taking initiative, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring a consistent focus on value-driven conversations that lead to results.
This is a position based on a 38-hour work week, from Monday to Friday, typically between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM. In special cases, flexibility around these hours can be discussed with your manager.
If you have the following skills and experience, we want to hear from you:

HBO-level education

Experience leading sales teams and coaching employees

Confident working with KPIs, SLAs, and Salesforce

Strong Dutch and English communication skills (spoken and written)

Result-driven, service- and people-oriented, commercially minded

Analytical and able to extract and use data to drive performance
