This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and out visiting customer sites covering South-East England

Here at RS, we have a brilliant Commercial Leadership opportunity to join our energised and highly collaborative Field Sales Team as a Regional Sales Manager. You will lead Key Account Managers to solve customer problems with our wide range of solutions, whilst holding overall accountability for profitable growth in driving turnover.

The Regional Sales Manager will drive the financial performance of their region, whilst also having a significant influence on the overall profitability and the Value Add Solutions performance across the UK market. 
  
A bit about you and what you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role:

  • You will enjoy coaching and leading people; supporting the Key Account Management community to deliver their aspirations - finding ways to develop and motivate your talented team. 
  • An open leader, you inspire, you are humble and down to earth, with a flexible approach who is open to challenge the current leadership and be challenged in return. It’s key that you are not hierarchically minded, as we are proud of being equal players in the Field sales team – every voice is heard. 
  • Working across the market with the Corporate & Internal sales teams.
  • Being commercially astute, (thinking Big) identifying large new opportunities for growth and bringing solid commercial propositions to the business whilst being responsible for delivering optimum return on all investments.
  • Developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities to exceed expectations. 
  • Being on the road, the expectations are that you are supportive of your team, coaching and developing them. You will therefore be spending time with them, either at their clients or other RS sites across the region. So obviously a driving licence is essential.
