Field Support Envoy
Field Based, GB
Locations covering – South Yorkshire, Midlands and Derbyshire.
As a Field Support Envoy, you will be providing cover for Stores Envoys and provide support for stores at client sites across the UK & Ireland as directed by the Client Resource Manager.
You will ensure the continual provision of high levels service delivery whilst on site with minimal impact to client operations.
What you will be doing:
- To provide cover for Stores personnel.
- To receipt deliveries and put stock away in pre-determined storage locations.
- To issue stock products.
- To assist clients in the selection of goods, advising where applicable alternatives that reduce overall costs.
- To initiate and conclude all customer / vendor returns.
- To conduct rotational stock checks as required.
- To conduct progressing and associated duties as required for site.
- To identify cost saving measures that will benefit the Client.
- To drive continuous improvements to the engineering stores.
- To maintain the stores standards to Opex requirements.
- To provide excellent levels of customer service for the client.
- To assist with any specific project work.
- To train and develop Store envoys as required for the needs of the business.
- To maintain the required H&S site requirements including reporting near misses as per company procedure.
- To share best practices with sites when covering.
- To complete a handover document for the Envoy’s return.
- To deliver a high standard of customer service level for the client.
- To communicate and liaise both with Client and the relevant COM’s.
- To carry out any other reasonable management request to assist the business or client.
What do I need to be successful?
If you have the following skills and experience, we want to hear from you:
- Excellent client facing and attention to detail skills.
- Good working knowledge of stores and inventory management.
- Good understanding of Microsoft packages.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Full driving licence.
- Forklift Truck License.
- Knowledge of Industrial Consumables / MRO market and engineering products.
- Basic general PC skills and knowledge (Microsoft programmes).
