About the role
 

We are looking for a Communications and Engagement Manager to join us, reporting into the UKI Managing Director and VP Group Communications. As the internal communications champion for the UKI, you’ll spend your time delivering innovative communications solutions by developing content aligned to our strategic priorities and ambitions.

You will be a natural storyteller and will help foster an environment that celebrates success by showcasing wins from across the business and building connected communities. You’ll ensure employees are informed, engaged, inspired and that they understand their part in supporting our journey to greatness and contributing to UKIs commercial success


What we’re looking for

In addition to being a seasoned communicator you are passionate about people and understand the value and impact of engagement on organisational culture and performance.  You’re strategically minded, creative, agile and able to quickly adapt to change working across a matrixed organisation.

In conjunction with UKI Leadership and the Group Communications teams, you will develop and deliver robust communications plans and materials through a wide variety of internal communications channels targeting and galvanising the UKI business You will support BAU communications to keep the business and teams operating smoothly and will also provide strategic updates while highlighting passion and performance.

 

Responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of integrated communications activities, including employee and business communications, content creation, and project communications support. You will be a member of the UKI Leadership team.

  • Strong writing with the ability to connect content to strategy and help our people understand the critical role they play in contributing to our success 
  • Proven capability in a delivery focused communications role
  • Resilient in an environment of change and competing business priorities 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across a matrix organisation 
  • Experience developing and delivering against communications plans aligned to business objectives
