In response to our increasing sales growth, we are hiring Client Relationship Managers to support our expanding customer base.

 

About the role:

 

The Client Relationship Manager is a key member of the Internal Sales team for the largest commercial market in RS Group.

As the Client Relationship Manager, you will take a proactive approach to managing a portfolio of 100+ customers, develop repeat business, protect & grow existing revenue & safeguard profit margins. You will be progressive in your problem-solving skills and innovative to identify opportunities and potential to increase market share.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee & grow a portfolio of assigned customers (revenue)
  • Develop & maintain strong, long-lasting customer & internal stakeholder relationships
  • Create actionable account development plans & roadmaps
  • Negotiate pricing agreements to improve overall account margins
  • Identify new business opportunities in existing accounts and identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets
  • Build a solid pipeline
  • Use CRM & other tools to drive portfolio growth
  • Collaborate with Field sales teams to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Track key account metrics (sales results and pipeline)

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • Previous field or internal sales experience is essential
  • Previous experience of successfully managing a portfolio of customers is essential
  • Strong customer focus & relationship management skills
  • Being able to listen & comprehend customer challenges & objectives
  • Financial & business awareness
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective negotiation and presentation skills
  • Passionate & authentic
