Assistant Financial Accountant

Location: This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and from our Corby office. This role is offered on 12-month fixed term contract basis.
We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Financial Accountant to join our Finance team, supporting both EMEA operations and our Group entity. This role plays an important part in maintaining robust financial controls, managing key accounting processes, and contributing to a high-performing finance environment.
What you will be doing:
- Manage and maintain fixed asset registers for EMEA and Group entities, including month-end and year-end processes in SAP.
- Oversee treasury-related postings including accruals and prepayments and monthly reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Coordinate quarterly key controls checks (KCC) by working closely with our internal team.
- Manage VAT reporting and support training across EMEA teams.
- Administer and review online banking access and user controls, building strong relationships with banking partners.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors, providing documentation and supporting audit processes.
- Assist with national statistics reporting, inventory analysis, and offer flexible support to wider business functions.
About you:
- Ideally, you’ll bring experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
- Relevant accounting qualification (AAT level 4 minimum or graduate level).
- A naturally positive outlook with a drive for continuous improvement and high performance.
- Personable and team-oriented, you enjoy collaborating and supporting others.
- A confident communicator, comfortable building strong relationships across a matrixed organisation.
