Supply Chain Manager, Thailand

We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and executing supply chain strategies that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.

 

You’ll also play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, distributors, and logistics partners to ensure seamless operations and service excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy, including the management of the Thailand Distribution Center.
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Determine key supply chain KPIs to measure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain necessary resources for an effective supply chain.
  • Analyze current inventories and procedures; recommend improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and profitability.
  • Initiate RFQs to source new logistics service providers, including 3PL for International Freight and DC operations.
  • Manage contracts with local carriers to ensure optimal service rates and performance.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and implement timely solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Train and evaluate team members while providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
  • Work with finance and sales teams to identify the best vendors and distributors.
  • Monitor supplier performance, ensuring they meet quality and delivery requirements, and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster collaboration and effectiveness.

 

Requirement:

  • Over 10 years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with supply chain management software.
  • Strong sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its contribution to the company's success.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven time-management, interpersonal, and communication skills.

 

Desirable

  • Knowledge of our external marketplace (customers, competitors & suppliers/ carriers).
  • Experience of working within the Electronics and/or Maintenance distribution industries as appropriate.
  • Experience of working in a global business.
  • Experience of working with SAP.
