COMPENSATION: $50K - $60K

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Implementation Leader will effectively plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control all aspects of implementing RS Integrated Supply programs for the management of clients’ in-plant storerooms. This role requires 80% travel and is fully remote—candidates may reside in any U.S. state or U.S. territory.

Implementation Leaders are also responsible for special project duties, such as converting new client sites to meet performance objectives, training site staff on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), temporarily managing sites as needed, and overseeing data conversion and migration projects. Additional responsibilities may include process documentation and participation in operational and safety audits.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with the Sr. Implementation Lead and/or Director to identify resources for implementations and assigned projects

  • Lead or support tasks such as parts data collection, operational planning, procedure development, and physical inventory counts of MRO supplies

  • Ensure compliance with OPEX Implementation Audit business standards

  • Document existing site procedures and support data standardization

  • Assist Sourcing/Procurement teams in identifying suppliers and collecting site-specific pricing

  • Collaborate with the IT Department on data building and interface troubleshooting

  • Participate in hiring and training processes for new and existing site staff, including temporary labor

  • Provide customer support and manage the transition from implementation to operations

  • Prepare weekly project status reports and offer recommendations to ensure timeline adherence

    • Maintain and update Microsoft Project timelines

    • Create reports and presentations using Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

  • Collect manufacturer and parts information using data templates or inventory management systems

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives between assignments, including root cause analysis and corrective actions

  • Support implementation team efforts, operational audits, and data management projects

  • Adhere to all RSIS EH&S guidelines and required training

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Technical school, two-year college or associate’s degree required.
• Ability to establish productive working relationships with various levels of staff and management.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Proficient user in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Access, MS Project, Microsoft PowerPoint, and strong Excel skills
• 5-8 years’ experience in project management or similar job.
• Experience with production and maintenance related materials including electrical, power transmission, safety, PVF and mill suppliers desired.
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience.
• Understanding and prior work with P&Ls and financial reporting.
• Availability to travel 80% of time
