About the role

 

This role will report directly into the General Manager for ANZ with a dotted line into the Vice President Digital for APAC. The Marketing Specialist will liaise with Local Sales and Product Manager Sales functions and will assist with the commercial plan for each market and then find synergies across markets to deliver commercial activities that will drive revenue for each market and the region.

 

This role will support the omni-channel strategy, from customer insight, ideation, development, and commercialization of marketing initiatives at local level and partner closely with Marketing & Digital teams.

 

This role will focus on enhancing the customer experience, particularly in digital interactions, while also supporting face-to-face engagements. Collaborate with the sales effectiveness team to refine our customer value proposition, empowering sales representatives to deliver personalized and impactful service. Ensure a best-in-class customer journey by optimizing the relevance and resonance of all brand communications, fostering greater awareness and connection with our customers at every touchpoint.

 

Responsibilities

Brand

  • Responsible for brand advertising activities and brand differentiation in our sector.
  • Define and deliver a suite of brand-consistent messaging appropriate to different customer segments and maximise the brand awareness across the ANZ region.
  • Ensure a consistent message and image is delivered to the market, using advertising, appropriate social & public relations, white papers, exhibitions, roadshow and other events, collateral materials and website content.
  • Make recommendations on media and channels selection, according to the defined priorities and guidelines.
  • Own the social content strategy and calendar, lead the implementation and performance tracking.
  • Working with and through other stakeholders, to ensure that all web pages associated with the brand websites are compliant with all applicable legal requirements and are maintained current and a reliable source for prospective and existing customers.

 

Customer Experience and Insight

  • Define and refine the interaction between our organisation and our customer over the duration of their relationship, which includes: The attraction, awareness, discovery, cultivation, advocacy, purchase and use of our services.
  • Drive a customer centric culture and skillset in local market.
  • Customer cultivate the data led insight commercialisation process and advocate the utilization of visualisation tools or dashboard for monitoring and review.
  • Provider of insights and data analysis related to all facets of our market position.
  • Provide relevant data and insight to shape and influence marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Assist in analysing customer insights across markets, focusing on understanding purchasing behaviours and optimising target selection. This includes developing detailed customer journey maps and identifying key personas to ensure a more tailored and effective approach to engaging with our audience.
  • Ensure optimal targeting of contacts based on local insight.
  • Support the tactical creation and production of local marketing activities to exploit local opportunities and events.

 

Marketing Campaigns

  • Responsible for local marketing governance, planning rhythm and quality deliverables.
  • Ensure that the customer needs and commercial opportunities are identified.
  • Implement effective communication of the value proposition concepts and private label positioning.
  • Develop and own budget, reporting, forecasting and overall marketing plans for initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a set of marketing KPIs to measure success across all initiatives.
  • Create and manage marketing operational plan within agreed processes to ensure activities are delivered on time and within budget levels.
  • Manage and liaise with external agencies when needed to bring out the best of the relationships and produce excellent work.

 

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Over 5 years demonstrated marketing experience in a commercial environment preferably B2B.
  • Good knowledge and relevant experience on the key principles of marketing, eCommerce, media design, production, digital strategy, campaign management and execution.
  • Good understanding of brand marketing, content production, campaign management and execution.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, social media marketing, email campaigns, content strategy, and performance analytics.
  • Strong ability to analyse and interpret digital metrics, user behaviour, and campaign performance data to optimise strategies and drive ROI.
  • Excellent project management skills to plan, execute, and oversee multiple digital initiatives simultaneously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with digital tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, content management systems (CMS), marketing automation software, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • A deep understanding of customer journeys and the ability to craft seamless, engaging experiences across all digital touchpoints to enhance brand loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to deliver consistent high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Culturally sensitive with the ability to operate with people across different markets.
  • Demonstrate the ability to challenge and work collaboratively at all levels within the organisation.

 

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an International and Matrix organisation with good cultural awareness.
  • Knowledge in e-commerce solutions.
