Develop and lead a high-performance team of Corporate Account Managers and Inside Sales professionals to drive double-digit growth in the premier customer segment by implementing best-in-class account management tools and practices. Foster a diverse work environment where team members can realize their full potential.

Build and leverage multi-tier relationships within assigned premier accounts, ensuring easy access to key decision-makers, influencers, and end users.

Implement a consultative approach to understand customer business needs and pain points, frame procurement challenges, and present procurement solutions, demonstrating the long-term value of partnering with RS Group.

Advocate for the adoption of RS Pro products and services to increase brand awareness, sales, and profitability.

Utilize reporting insights and customer data to forecast, identify new opportunities, review contract adoption and performance, and plan sales and business development efforts to deliver incremental growth.

Collaborate with Premier Customer Service, Category Management, and Supply Chain teams to exceed premier customer expectations and drive extreme customer satisfaction.

Work closely with Marketing Specialists to define go-to-market approaches for premier customers and enhance RS branding locally.

Invest in gaining knowledge of RS’s product ranges, sales practices, procurement solutions, and value-added services.

Complete tasks assigned by the line manager and the company.
What existing skills and experience will you need to be successful in this opportunity?

10+ years in Corporate Account Management or Strategic Business Development with a proven sales track record, preferably in the industrial sector.

Technical experience/qualification and/or sales experience in a high-service-level B2B environment.

Self-motivated leader with the ability to manage a team of managers.

Results-driven with a focus on profit margins.

Knowledge/experience of ecommerce and procurement trends.

Strong sales and negotiation skills with deep account management experience.

Experience with supply agreements/contracts.

Ability to cross-reference products using specifications and technical parameters.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills.

IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experienced with CRM systems.

Customer-focused attitude (internal and external).

Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
