ABOUT THE ROLE:

**This role is based in the Northeast (Phildelphia/Boston)**

 

This role is accountable to deliver hard and soft dollar savings by identifying and leading continuous improvement support opportunities across multiple customers to meet and exceed contractual savings targets.

 

To achieve success, the Reliability Program Manager, will work closely with the customer reliability, maintenance, and the RS Integrated Supply on-site personnel to develop a pipeline of cost savings initiatives. This is in support of our contract requirement with our client Sanofi. The role will require travel to the various North America Sanofi locations.  

 

The role is responsible for ideation, scoping, business cases, and managing projects thru to completion. This requires a high degree of customer interactions across multiple levels with the Customer’s Maintenance, Engineering, and Reliability resources. The goal is to mitigate financial risk to RSIS’ contract and to drive value to our customer.

 

Key Responsibilites:

  • Responsible for supporting key accounts for project ideation, tracking, along with preparing formal submittal documentation that quantifies benefits, implementation plan, risk mitigation and net benefits for the opportunities identified and presented.
  • Support our key customer in improvement and cost savings initiatives, with heavy emphasis on data analysis, inventory optimization, process efficiencies, alternate sourcing and other related activities.
  • Deliver on-site change management efforts to determine the best approach to implement cost savings recommendations.
  • Host and lead workshops to identify cost savings opportunities and plant up-time improvements.
  • Develop project charters, problem statements, and craft a shared vision with the customer to transform processes to deliver measurable impact and improvement.
  • Perform root cause(s) analysis.
  • Conduct value stream assessments to identify value and non-value add (Defects) in the process as to improve productivity and value.
  • Support efforts to optimize inventory strategies and spare part criticality.
  • Coordinate project efforts with engineering for bill of materials, part commercialization, reverse engineering projects, defect identification, and waste elimination projects as part of our TCO strategy.
  • Utilize Lean/Six Sigma methodology to analyse current processes and develop recommendations for improvements.
  • Exceed contractual cost savings targets within assigned accounts.
  • Manage projects across multiple customers to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Establish metrics to measure effectiveness of new processes and quantify benefits to our customers.

Candidate Requirements:   

  • Black Belt Certification, or in process of earning certificate.  
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of cGMP practices
  • Travel is required.
  • 5 years + in customer relationship management, with prior Integrated Supply Operational experience preferred.
  • Strong Presentation and Analytical Skills, with a comfort level presenting information to all levels of management.
  • Ability to host and lead workshops to drive process improvements with key customer stakeholders.
  • Outgoing personality with ability to build strong customer relationships, to increase our vertical growth within assigned customers.
  • Ability to effectively create a vision for change and improvement.
  • Project Management skills and leadership abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a consulting relation with the customer
  • Solid working knowledge of business processes, transaction costs, and MRO goods.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS software (knowledge of Maximo or SAP is a plus)
