Warehouse Operative
The warehouse operative will ensure continuity of work for all areas within the business. All stock issued, and goods received are correctly recorded and allocated. Accountable for all stock transactions within the stores in relation to any IT systems provided. Additionally ensure that all stock dispatched daily is picked and recorded correctly. Delivering stock to our customers as required

- Comply with all Health & Safety on site (including Covid Restrictions)
Duties/Tasks:
- Participate fully as a part of the team.
- To undertake a daily cycle count.
- To keep the warehouse area in a clean and tidy manner and ensure all stock is fit for purpose.
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements are given the highest priority within the warehouse and Yard area.
- Minimise risk to the Company and provide clarity on procedures to be followed.
- To actively promote a professional outlook and behaviour through personal example
- Promoting the reporting of accidents, incidents, damages and near misses.
- To actively promote the Company’s Equal Opportunities Policy and carry out all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies, procedures and practice.
- To carry out daily transactions in relation to the company’s computer system to ensure accurate stocks.
- To work a reasonable amount of overtime to support the daily business needs.
- Only issue material from within the stores if the relevant paperwork is provided.

Requirements:
- Previous experience of working in a warehouse
- Stock control exposure
- MHE Experience
Nice to have, but not essential:
- Driving licence
- Forklift licence
