Sales Executive II, Key Account Management, Phillippines

Role Purpose
Responsible for optimising sales income from all assigned accounts to achieve business objectives and targets within a specified Territory or Industry Sector, working closely with the Sales Team and other functional business areas.
Responsibilities

Ownership to drive and achieve sustainable sales and exceed sales targets in Philippines

Use financial and customer data to identify, analyse and penetrate a portfolio of high sales growth opportunity accounts

Achieve sales targets and other specified metrics & activities, like Sales, Margin, customer call-visits

Identify and respond to other opportunities in the Territory in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing team

Plan effective contact coverage to exceed sales/growth targets

Develop an in depth understanding of the customer, their markets and competitors

To effectively use the RS value proposition to differentiate RS from our competitors in the minds of their contacts

Provide solutions to meet customer needs by the implementation of relevant and cost-effective value added services

Build and use internal and external networks to ensure customer satisfaction and drive activity at site level

Identify new contacts and expand the range of products purchased using the Value Proposition to position RS as their supplier of choice

Maintain accurate customer records, CRM data and sales reporting data to maximize potential from the customer base.

To continually expand relevant technical knowledge and to develop an understanding of the RS product and service portfolio, their application in key areas and the benefits they provide to customers.

Build, maintain and enhance relationships with all key influencers and decision makers within new and existing customers to consistently strive to develop new business opportunities and achieve revenue targets.

Manage effectively assigned Premier customers and drive RS Pro Private label and secure agreements.

Share best practice across the business in order to support the activities of the team whilst achieving individual goals and targets.

Meet specified sales standards.

Issue, follow up and convert profitable quotations.

Support Marketing campaigns to drive activity and sales.

Grow the customer base in the assigned area.

Responsible for optimising sales income from assigned product portfolio to achieve business objectives and targets within a specified territory or industry sector, accounts acquisition and product group/brand.

Work closely with the Sales team, other functional business areas, and supplier partner.

Act as project manager for high value and important projects/opportunities.
Essential Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years proven track record in industrial field sales, including key account management
-
A thorough understanding of the Philippines business environment, broad industry knowledge, industry drivers and trends
-
Commercial awareness, particularly around the cost of acquisition
-
Results driven and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Strong negotiation skills, able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels with excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.

Experience in engaging with Senior Management of companies.

Good planning, prioritization and time management skills
-
Understanding of procurement strategies within a business environment and able to articulate value solutions to support customer needs.

Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft packages.
Desirable Skills & Experience
-
Knowledge in e-commerce within a B2B environment
-
Experience working in a Matrix organization.
-
Project management and Automation & Control experience is an advantage.
