RS Group is presently in search of a VIP Support Engineer to become a permanent member of their team. In this role, as a VIP Support Engineer, you will deliver a premium service to our F1 Team, Executive Assistants, Board Members, and VIP community.

What you’ll be doing

  • Oversight of IT services for the VIP community
  • Collaboration with F1, Board members, and senior management across all Geographies to comprehend their IT requirements
  • Taking charge of all VIP incidents and requests, monitoring tickets with other resolver groups or support partners to ensure SLAs are met until resolution
  • Authority to make decisions benefiting the business and delivering exceptional service
  • Assistance with activities and ticket management for London-based users when there is no immediate need from the VIP community
  • Mentoring the hardware technician role to enhance technical skills
  • Providing solutions and recommendations to enhance the end-user experience
  • Utilizing available tools and technologies for proactive management
  • Capability to address unknown/undocumented issues, find solutions, and document them
  • Adhering to local working practices, legal requirements, and health and safety regulations

About you

In this position, you will have the chance to cultivate relationships with the Executive Assistant community, gaining insight into the needs of VIPs for effective delivery.
The ideal candidates must have experience in the following:  

  • Prior experience in VIP support
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Core Microsoft technologies
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and working practices
  • Previous experience with Apple Macs and client devices
  • Expertise in application installations and maintenance
  • Knowledge of managing infrastructure patching cabinets
  • Adherence to the practice and standards of a service delivery team
  • Background in working in a customer-facing organization
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with internal departments and external third parties
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and working practices
  • Must possess the ability to organize own workload on a day-to-day basis to deliver agreed activity plans and meet SLAs
