About the role

The organisation effectiveness team exists within the broader People & Culture function to maximise the performance of the RS business, by pulling the levers of high performance at an individual, team and organisational level.

We are accountable for setting and governing global frameworks, policies, processes and platforms that support our businesses, in the areas of: diversity equity and inclusion; capability development and culture; leadership and talent, including early careers; organisation design, and strategic workforce planning.

As a centre of expertise, we are recognised as global experts in our field, who work collaboratively and effectively with our partners in other areas of HR and the wider business, whilst staying fully focused on global priorities.

As one of our new OE Consultants you will:

  • Be part of an agile team of experts, flexing to work on the most important priorities across the OE portfolio
  • Build strong relationships with regional/functional HR teams, ensuring all initiatives deliver business value
  • Work with OE SMEs and other HR teams to design, plan and deliver OE interventions aligned with people plan (for example, D&I campaigns, definition of new behavioural frameworks, leadership assessment, team facilitation, global learning content design and delivery)
  • Create project plans and lead global OE projects, including ensuring all changes are planned and managed in a way that works for the local HR teams and business recipients.

 

What we’re looking for

Expertise in subject matter:

  • Extensive experience in at least two of the following areas: Strategic Workforce Planning (priority), Organisation Design (priority), D&I, Engagement, Leadership Development, Organisation Architecture Design,
  • International work experience highly desirable (particularly mainland Europe); global mindset is essential
  • Strong understanding of organisational behaviour and psychology.

  • Tenacity to drive through programmes to completion
  • Flexibility to shift onto different priorities, and to collaborate with different leaders and team members in new areas of organisation effectiveness
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with pragmatism, to effect immediate change whilst also setting the organisation up for long term success.
  • Experience in working in agile teams/organisations is highly desirable.

 

Change management

  • Previous project management and change implementation experience in a global matrixed organisation
  • Strong consulting skills, and ability to flex and work effectively across a broad range of organisational effectiveness areas

 

Stakeholder management

  • Proven stakeholder management skills, in a global matrix environment
  • First-class communication skills with the ability and presence to challenge, partner, and influence at all levels of the global organisation.
