Do you picture yourself at a FTSE 100 company with Sustainability and Social Responsibility at the heart of its values?  If you already have experience working for a People or Social Responsibility and Sustainability function within a diverse international business, and can demonstrable abilities to coordinate, collate and present qualitative and quantitative people data, this could be an ideal opportunity for you!

Now is a great time to join RS Group. We are a global provider of industrial product and services solutions, placing sustainability at the core of our strategy for our customers, products, solutions and supply chain, not to mention our people and culture.

This is a new role with an exciting opportunity to help RS Group shape and advance its sustainability reporting, ensuring transparency to external stakeholders and providing the insights required to drive improvement with our workforce practices.  Specifically, the role will shape and create RS Group's response to the EU CSRD "Own Workforce" reporting requirements, ensuring the response is a robust reflection of our workforce, people practices and the related standards, policies and metrics.

What you will be doing:

Your main responsibility will be to develop and coordinate the RS Group response to the People related EU CSRD reporting requirements and manage regulatory and sustainability reporting for the People Function.  Typical activities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Group Social Responsibility & Sustainability team to deliver the required People Team elements of the overall Group CSRD response
  • Liaising with the different People teams to collect, collate and draft responses to the different sections of the “Own Workforce” submission (comprises policies, standards, practices and metrics)
  • Managing to a project plan and highlighting risks and issues, not only with the completeness of the submission, but also with the quality of the response we are able to provide
  • Providing progress updates to the project sponsor and wider People Leadership Team.

What we are looking for from you:

  • An understanding of HR and workforce related policy, process, and reporting
  • A track record of producing high quality and accurate written reports and documents.
  • Great stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Project coordination experience
  • Experience of engaging stakeholders across a global organisation
  • Any experience or familiarity with compliance and regulatory reporting (e.g. Workforce Disclosure Initiative, Gender pay gap & pay transparency, investor/rating agency reporting, annual report submissions or similar)
