Our PeopleTech Team support our global business of almost 10,000 employees with a variety of system support and data analysis, to allow us to get the very best from and for our people!

The Integration & Data Analyst provides data and analytical support for the function by designing, building and maintaining reports, data feeds between systems, data transformations, data models, and dashboards. 

 

Using data extracts and analysis they also monitor and advise on routine systems activity, People data quality, People processes, and high level People metrics, identifying potential business performance issues and possible improvements.

 

Leveraging their strong understanding of our technical landscape, they also provide 1st line support for our API integrations in SAP BTP, working with customers to troubleshoot errors, reprocess data, and work with second line support to implement field or mapping changes as required.

 


What you can expect to be doing:

 

The remit is broad, but you can expect the following activities to be included:

 

Reporting

  • Creating and maintaining regular and ad hoc reporting for the People Function, Finance and Transformation teams
  • Designing, building and maintaining interactive dashboards
  • Utilising data to produce trend analysis and performance reports which highlight performance risks and opportunities
  • Enabling colleagues across the People Team and wider business to self-serve on the data required in their roles

 

Data Architecture and Governance

  • Understanding and supporting data needs for downstream systems and processes across the business (i.e. SSO, Identity Authentication Services, external Learning platforms)
  • Maintaining governance & standards for People data & reporting – e.g. data quality, data dictionary, data architecture, metrics standards & definitions 
  • Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management
  • Understanding and designing updatable and maintainable data models in multiple platforms
  • Update and maintain Integration Design documents
  • Assessing and integrating HR data from new acquisitions and joint ventures into existing platforms
  • Understanding and using secure handling and transfer of data between systems (i.e. generating and maintaining PGP Encryption keys, anonymizing and aggregating data where possible, using SFTP clients and servers) 

 

Strategic Analytics & Insight

  • Maintains effective relationships with internal customers
  • Supporting value add solutions for tactical and strategic workforce planning
  • Understand and articulate predictive analytics models and their deeper root cause and relational analysis of business and workforce related challenges
  • Keeps themselves informed about the HR Tech landscape, tools and trends that are relevant to our Function

        
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Find new and innovative ways to present data to ensure that the business fully understands the trends, issues, risks and opportunities
  • Provide pro-active analysis of key metrics to highlight issues
  • Provide support regarding programmes or activities.  
  • Recognise and escalate potential risks and issues in a timely manner

 


What we are looking for from you:

 

Essential experience:

 

  • Relevant experience in data analysis and visualization 
  • Analytical capability with a high level of commercial awareness 
  • Effective report design and construction 
  • Interpretation of people, financial and other business data, including the ability to identify anomalies and spot trends 
  • Experience of handling and manipulating large datasets
  • Experience with data extraction and transformation tools (APIs, SQL)
  • Ability to use MS Office packages and advanced Excel and/or Access
  • Ability of managing own workload effectively under own initiative
  • Good communicator who is able to build strong relationships in a matrix structure

 

Desirable experience:

 

  • Experience developing APIs (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, Swagger) Postman, data extraction and transformation tools
  • Experience using and configuring SAP BTP sub accounts and services, specifically Cloud Integration Suite (CPI)
  • Knowledge of Data visualisation & dashboarding tools (e.g. Tableau, Domo, Power BI or similar)
  • Experience with analytics tools and methods (e.g. R, Python)
  • Knowledge of HR systems (SuccessFactors, Workday, UKG Workforce, ADP Workforce etc) data and data flows/architecture
  • Experience in a complex multinational business
  • Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence)
  • Experience handling confidential/personally identifiable information and the relevant security constraints
