Supplier Marketing Manager

As a Supplier Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of negotiated supplier marketing funds within the selection of suppliers assigned to the role, while working together with the Product & Supplier Management team and the suppliers for the negotiation of funds and making sure the marketing activities are planned, delivered, and invoiced properly across EMEA.

 

This role can be based out of our Frankfurt, London or Corby office and reports to the Senior Supplier Marketing Manager and has support from a Campaign Manager direct report.

 

What you will be doing:

 

In this position, you will develop, lead and co-ordinate clear and cohesive end to end EMEA marketing plans for strategic suppliers that are data-driven and meet supplier and RS objectives and align the goals of the RS Product & Supplier Management function with strategic suppliers to drive mutual business growth.

 

Collaborating closely with local supplier marketing managers to deliver the best plans and value to suppliers, sharing insights, ways of working and creating a close network of relationships. Supporting the process of allocating marketing funds to local EMEA markets, working with local supplier marketing teams and ensure plans are successfully built, executed, and reported within assigned budgets and on time.

 

You will schedule, assign, and brief marketing activities to your Campaign Manager and support in the successful delivery and creation of necessary proof of activity reports and then measure and report performance of all marketing activities against identified objectives and KPIs.

 

What do I need to be successful?

  • Proven experience in B2B marketing, ideally within industrial distribution.
  • Strong commercial acumen, highly results driven and willingness to learn and develop.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in cross-functional, multi-stakeholder collaboration and working with different European cultures.
  • A good understanding of target audiences and the marketing channels with which they engage.
  • Exceptional data/analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, relationship management and collaboration capabilities.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Experience of working in a global matrix organisation.
  • Prior people management experience.
