Senior Solutions Manager, Value Added Solutions

In this role you can work remotely from any place in Germany. There will be frequent visits to the clients.

 

In this role you will be supporting the delivery of the EMEA Value Added Solutions (VAS) Strategy and customer vision.

The role will ensure alignment between commercial markets and functional teams, providing subject matter expertise to build and execute their local plan.  This will ensure establishment of resources, adoption of technology systems and development of business processes to deliver a consistent customer experience and commercial business model.

You will also work with the wider EMEA VAS team, Digital and Technology functions to ensure that product roadmaps and development activities in relation to eCommerce solutions are effectively communicated into market stakeholders. They will possess and develop a strong commercial understanding of customer needs, competitor environment and overall market commercial landscape.

 

What you will do to be successful in this role:

 

  • Embed industry recognised best practice project installations for RS Value Added Solutions and acceptance into service frameworks including support for ongoing implementations around break fix & service issue resolution
  • Support with rolling out a consistent end-end Service Delivery model, from pre-sale through BAU, for all RS Value Added Solutions within partner markets
  • Support the Head of Delivery and local market teams in building a team of implementation specialists following a consistent approach to the on-boarding of new installations & contracts from customer proposal to systems configuration, customer go-live (including end user training) and then handover to business as usual operations and support teams
  • Support markets in understanding the technical elements of Value Added Solutions, including eProcurement solutions such as PunchOut and eOrdering
  • Work closely with the EMEA VAS team to advance our capabilities where appropriate

 

 

A bit about you:

 

  • Experience of establishing operational, customer implementation and technical support processes in relation to managed service and digital propositions
  • Effective coach and collaborator, influencing other teams to take personal ownership & responsibility
  • A strong appreciation of digital procurement methods such as PunchOut, Electronic Ordering, Electronic Invoicing, and web order management tools
  • Experience of working in a matrix business
  • Experience working in an MRO distribution business, with prior experience of implementing Vendor Managed Inventory and eCommerce solutions
  • Experience of working in a global or pan-European role
  • Highly IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft office and an appreciation for SQL database management.
  • Experience in designing, mapping and improving business processes related to service design and delivery
  • Excellent German and English is a must have
