What you will be doing:
Our high performing and engaged finance team supports and challenges its partners to drive value for the Group. We provide excellent decision support, insightful financial reporting, and cost-efficient processes in a sound control environment.
Our DACH business has recently grown due to both organic growth and a bolt-on acquisition and now has revenue of €375m serving more than 100,000 customers. 
The role holder plays a fundamental role as the finance leader of the market in supporting the strategic direction of the market and providing clear financial insight into performance and execution and challenging the team to find ways to continually improve. They will work with the MD of the market to actively pursue and evaluate inorganic opportunities within the strategic framework to add scale to the DACH business and work proactively to integrate acquired businesses.
The role holder will be expected to play an active role in the respective leadership team being the voice of finance and in the EMEA finance leadership team acting as the voice for the market.
The incumbent will play a critical role in decision-making processes, providing financial insight, risk management, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards particularly for the DACH market. 
Additionally, the role will drive a commercial mindset within the DACH team whilst leading the creation of high performing and engaged local Finance team.


Core responsibilities:
Accountable for the end-to-end financial performance of the DACH market. This includes oversight of some Group functional costs which sit within the geography.
Accountable for the development of DACH market budgets and forecasts, reviewing in the context of the region. 
Accountable to develop the 5-year plan and including assumptions relating to KPI’s, consulting relevant departments for strategic options and determining financial impact of strategic initiatives.
Accountable to review actual performance against budget or previous forecast, perform root cause analysis for variances, prepare risks and opportunities log and prepare performance commentaries prepare management reports and communication packs.


About you:
Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) and/or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Strong financial modelling, analysis, and forecasting skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations
A strong track record in leadership roles, proven ability in leading and development teams and a high level of strategic thinking
Excellent analytical, strategic planning and decision-making skills with the ability to work in an agile environment at pace. 
Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP) and familiarity with analytics platforms and technologies
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all aspects of the role.
A highly collaborative individual, strong team player who is able to build strong relationships with senior executives, stakeholders, peers and their own team.
