About the Role
Role Purpose
The primary function of the position is to support the Sr. Director of commercial finance with financial analysis and business partnering with key areas of the business. This includes building reports along with performing analysis of key financial data, operational data, and Key Performance Indicators to assist senior management in making informed decisions.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the value-add finance can bring beyond the numbers. You will investigate innovative ways to improve our insight capabilities as well as business partner across functions to assess trends and opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Business partners with commercial functions providing business insight into critical decisions.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, analyze key trends and variances, and highlight improvement opportunities.
- Support budgeting and rolling forecasting processes, ensuring accurate data and analysis.
- Highly analytical and can transition between being strategic and completing hands on tasks.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial performance analysis across P&L, working capital and cash flow.
- Develop and own dashboard(s) and reports to spot trends and highlight areas of opportunity.
- Support month-end close with updating reports and researching variances between actual and forecasted balances.
- Be support for the wider commercial finance team on ad hoc projects.

- Highly proficient in Excel, including advanced formulas and functions
- Experience with dashboard tools such as Power BI
- SAP and OneStream experience is a plus
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance or Accounting
- 4+ years’ experience in Finance or Accounting
- Analytical and quantitative abilities with expertise in financial modeling and data analysis
