VAS Customer Order Solutions Supervisor

Job Description

Responsibility for delivering in-house and partner build solutions and establishing consistent Process KPI’s and targets:

  • Establish in-house build capabilities to support build operations including but not limited to:
    • Kitting/Bag & Tag
    • Labelling/Marking
    • De-Reel/Bulk processes
    • Din-Rail and Assembly
    • Cable & Control Panel Assembly
  • Manage VAS build labour planning, execution, quality, and safety of VAS build team members.
  • Liaise with Operations leadership to ensure proper collaboration to deliver the offer for our customers.
  • Liaise with Facilities/Maintenance leadership to ensure CAPEX equipment can support demand and scope for VAS build volume.
  • Support adjacent VAS silos to ensure proper workflow, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Work with adjacent VAS leadership to ensure achievement of revenue and operational KPI’s.
  • Establish operational procedures, processes, reporting, and controls to ensure the delivery of VAS build volume safely and cost-effectively.
  • Responsible for managing day-to-day VAS build operations including KPI’s:
    • Labor planning
    • Safety
    • Equipment maintenance
    • UPH
    • Workflow
    • OTTP
    • Quality

 

  • Lead and mentor VAS build associates and electronics technicians to deliver results.
  • Support scalable growth through process optimization in conjunction with internal CI assets and Operations Leadership.
  • Adopt start-up mentality by adjusting to shifting priorities as the VAS silo and it’s services/solutions offer becomes more clearly defined and aligned with customer needs.

About the role

As a member of the Value-Added Solutions Team, play a key role in the development and deployment of build solutions in the Americas as a core way of working, that supports and enables the delivery of our strategic growth plans, through simple and scalable processes. This role supports the regional Value-Added Solutions initiatives by implementing in-house and partner build solutions while liaising with adjacent VAS silos: Design Solutions, Partner Network Solutions, and Procurement Solutions in the Americas.

Essential:

  • Experience in operations people leadership
  • Strong presentation and communication skillset
  • Adept at industrial engineering/manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Direct experience of training, mentoring and coaching others
    • Understands and seeks out knowledge of the business; applies this through constructive feedback, coaching and open knowledge sharing
    • Motivates self to learn, grow and achieve while motivating to do the same. Builds the knowledge and capability of others and the organization; always anticipating future capability needs

 

Desirable:

  • Direct Distribution or Manufacturing Industry Experience and specifically as part of a process-driven environment
  • Lean Six Sigma certification/experience 
  • Electronics and panel building knowledge/experience
