Director, Global Shared Business Services (GBS) Transformation
Job Description
The Director, Global Business Services (GBS) Transformation is responsible for leading the transformation of the company's Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) organization. This includes developing and executing a strategic plan to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and value of Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) services. The Director will also be responsible for managing the change process and ensuring that Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) is aligned with the company's overall business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) transformation
- Manage the change process and ensure that Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) is aligned with the company's overall business goals
- Lead a team of Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) professionals in the implementation of new processes, systems, and technologies
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) services
- Manage Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) budgets and ensure that costs are in line with expectations
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the company and with external partners
- Represent Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) to the company's senior leadership team
- Lead the transformation of Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) processes
- Implement a continuous improvement program for GBS
- Expand the scope of Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) to other business areas within the company
- Work on location optimization of Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) offerings

About the role
This role will lead the transformation of GSBS processes in the Americas, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's overall business goals. The Director will also implement and institutionalize a continuous improvement program for GSBS, expand the scope of GSBS to other business areas within the company, and work on location optimization of GSBS offerings.
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership role in a shared services or Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) organization
- Proven track record of success in leading and managing complex change initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Knowledge of Spanish preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of business process reengineering and technology
- Experience in other Shared Services / GBBS global organization
- Experience with change management methodologies
- Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams
