Strategic Contract Manager
Field Based, GB
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, which involves a combination of working field-based, visiting customer sites/our offices, and also remotely.

Here at RS, we have a fantastic customer-focused opportunity to join our energised, successful, and collaborative Corporate Sales Team as a Strategic Contract Manager. The role is based in the North-West and Cumbria with accountability for the successful rollout of a new 3-year customer agreement, delivery of the contractual KPI’s and to lead the consolidation of customer spend from multiple suppliers into RS.
The Strategic Contract Manager will be hybrid/home-based but operate in the field and spend 80% of their time visiting key customer stakeholders and sites to promote and develop the customer consolidation agenda, whilst identifying products that could be introduced to the RS Core product catalogue.

A bit about your skills, experience and what you enjoy doing to be successful in this role

You will have previous experience in managing multi-site & multi senior stakeholder contacts, ideally from the Utilities or Public Sectors.

The ability to operate in a matrix organisation is vital and you will be supported by a central team, also dedicated to this customer contract.

Working across the market with the regional teams, marketing, and product management to deliver service excellence.

Being commercially astute, (thinking Big) identifying large new opportunities for growth and bringing solid commercial propositions to the business whilst being responsible for delivering optimum return on all investments

Experienced in managing customer review meetings in line with contractual commitments.

Developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities to exceed our financial plans.

Experience in managing relationships with supplier partners in identifying innovative solutions and bringing these to our customer stakeholders for consideration.
