Here is more about what you will be doing...

 

Spending a sizeable part of your time 'on the road', you will be the key point of contact for our customers within the Blackburn/Bolton/Preston region. These companies are incredibly varied, coming from a wealth of different industries and backgrounds. We will look to you to work closely with these customers and take your portfolio to the next level, and in order to this you will need to:

 

  • As a part of this role you will build an effective stakeholder network with your customers across a variety of functional departments to create engagement and consensus
  • Identify and target revenue potential within your portfolio.
  • Producing robust business plans that exceed sales and profit targets.
  • Building a detailed understanding of the customers, markets, and competitors
  • Maintain and upkeep accurate customer records.
  • Building coalitions across the business to support the delivery of sales targets including with the internal account managers.

 

 

What existing skills and experience will you need to be successful in this opportunity?

 

  • Experience in a field-based sales role with account management responsibilities and exposure to working to KPIs and targets.
  • You are open-minded, possessing the ability and wiliness to embrace change.
  • Someone who takes a solution-led approach to their work.
  • You possess a proven ability in strategic thinking and planning.
  • You are an excellent relationship builder.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Any Salesforce CRM or B2B experience would be a bonus!
  • And of course – a driving licence is essential!
