Inventory Representative

This is a dynamic hybrid role where you’ll combine customer service, stock management, and on-the-road delivery support. You’ll be a trusted partner to our customers, managing on-site inventory systems, delivering stocked items, and identifying new opportunities for RS solutions.

 

You’ll be the face of RS, providing real value to our trade customers and making sure they get what they need, when they need it.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Visit customer sites regularly to replenish and maintain RS Managed Inventory systems.
  • Deliver RS stock to trade customers on local routes using a company vehicle.
  • Build strong, lasting customer relationships that generate trust, loyalty, and sales growth.
  • Spot opportunities to expand product ranges, replace legacy stock, or meet ad-hoc customer needs.
  • Support system implementation and ensure all workflows and SOPs are followed.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety at all installations.
  • Collaborate closely with RS sales and implementation teams to maximise customer value and service.
  • Track and meet key performance indicators related to Managed Inventory Services.
  • Occasionally support the local trade counter team with stock and service needs.

What do I need to be successful?

If you have the following skills and experience, we want to hear from you:

  • Full clean Irish driving licence category B and be fully competent in driving manual transmission vehicles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and flexible. A natural problem solver.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable with basic IT systems.
  • Customer-first mindset with experience in service or sales roles.
  • Understanding of stock control or warehouse practices.
