Competitive Salary based on experience
27% shift allowance
Up to £4,500 p.a skills allowance
Bonus of up to 10% of basic salary
Paid overtime

 

Private Healthcare
16.5% pension (with 6% contribution)
24 days leave plus 8 Bank Holidays

 

Night shift, (+ some out of hours cover):
Monday to Wednesday: 20:30 – 06:30
Thursday: 20:30 – 04:00

 

What are we looking for?

We are looking for the following skills in our engineers:

 

  • Experience maintaining PLC’s and electrical equipment.
  • A recognised apprenticeship or qualification or ‘time served’ experience.
  • Knowledge of:
    - Fault finding
    - Repair
    - Basic electronics
    - Conveyors
    - Pneumatics & hydraulics
    - Motor/gear boxes

 

 

What will you be doing?

As an engineer, you will be one of the most important cogs in our engine, it will be down to you to keep us moving (literally).

 

Your role is to react to faults and breakdowns and repair them quickly to a high standard, also, you will always be looking to do preventative maintenance and finding continuous improvement opportunities.

 

It goes without saying that Health & Safety is one of the pillars on which RS has built its reputation and all our engineers will need to live and breathe this.
