Informatica 360 Developer
Location: Hybrid (London or Corby)

RS Group is seeking an experienced Informatica 360 Developer to join our team. In this role, you will help define, build, and test platform, data, and configuration components on our global Customer Data Master (CDM) platform. This platform operates on the Informatica Intelligent Data Cloud, incorporating Customer 360, Business 360, Data Quality, and Administrator applications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, Test, and Deploy: Build and deploy the SaaS CDM platform across the group, enabling strategic and real-time customer insights to enhance the omnichannel customer experience. You will support our Development, Test, and Production instances following our Foundation release.
  • Improve Customer Data Quality: Collaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts (SMEs), including the GD&A team and local data stewards, to enhance data quality through further development and testing of DQ rules on the CDM Foundation platform.
  • Optimize De-Duplication: Define and test Match-Merge rules to improve de-duplication for both organizational and contact entities from various data sources.
  • Extend Data Model: Build, test, and deploy additional data attributes, extending the Data Model and Data Mappings as needed.
  • Adapt Data Flows: Implement changes to data ingresses and egresses in response to CDM content updates.
  • Roadmap Development: Contribute to the delivery roadmap of the CDM, ensuring alignment with business priorities by working closely with architects and SMEs.
  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with Business Analysts to prioritize requirements, ensuring the platform meets global business needs.
  • Team Leadership: Potential to grow into a leadership role, overseeing a development team within a CDM Centre of Excellence.
  • Scrum Participation: Engage in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews alongside the Product Owner and team members.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  • Compliance and Security: Assist in maintaining compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and implement strong security measures to protect customer information.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and process documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine the customer data management process based on feedback from stakeholders and end-users to enhance functionality and data quality.
     

About You:
As an Informatica 360 Developer, you will play a key role in delivering the CDM platform, a fundamental component of our customer strategy. Your work will ensure effective reporting structures and data flows, supporting business decision-making.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: Extensive hands-on experience with Informatica CDM, particularly the SaaS version, including Customer 360, Business 360, Reference 360, Data Quality, and Administration.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in building, configuring, testing, and deploying Informatica CDM C360 solutions. Experience with CDI data integrations (ingresses & egresses) and essential SQL skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage development, testing, and deployment activities in both Agile and waterfall delivery models.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging and influencing colleagues at all levels.
  • Agile Experience: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Compliance Awareness: Basic understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and experience implementing security measures.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills in a results-driven environment.
  • Project Management Tools: Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Trello.
     

Desirable Skills:

  • Certifications: Certifications in Cloud Data Integration or Cloud Application Integration, particularly in Informatica, are a plus.
  • Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with Snowflake, Salesforce, SAP, or Treasure Data would be an advantage.
