Head of Content Localisation 
Location: Hybrid (London or Corby)

RS Group is seeking a Head of Content Localisation to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will lead the Localisation team to ensure product content is translated for all markets and develop SEO-focused local content enrichment plans tailored to market needs.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Strategic Leadership: Identify future localisation trends and develop a roadmap to expand RS's provision of localised content, aligning with Group strategy. Anticipate global customer needs to deliver appropriate localisation and achieve commercial ROI.
  • System and Process Management: Ensure the business has the right systems, processes, and integrations for future-proof language operations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee language operations metrics and dashboards to ensure translations are delivered cost-efficiently, with high quality and timeliness.
  • SEO Content Enrichment: Drive SEO-focused content enrichment projects to improve commercial results through increased SEO traffic and share of search.
  • Data-Driven Content Strategy: Guide team members in using SEO keywords, customer data, supplier insights, and competitor benchmarking to create a competitive commercial advantage in content elements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a CI culture that bases decisions on customer data, supplier insights, and competitor benchmarking. Ensure language operations advance to higher maturity at the enterprise level.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain close relationships with key stakeholders across Group, Regional, and Market teams, including Content, Digital Products, Product and Supplier Chain Management, Marketing, COE, Technology, and Finance.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Model leadership behaviours to increase engagement, productivity, and quality within the team. Recruit, coach, manage performance, and develop a strong talent pipeline.
     

About You:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing global translation services and processes at the enterprise level, driving process improvement and system implementation through effective use of language technology and data.
