About the role

The Employee Services team are one of the principal employee facing teams in the Global Shared Business Services Finance function. They are responsible for ensuring that expenses are processed accurately, within policy and are paid on time and also ensuring that business travel is done within policy and takes place without incident.

In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring that the Employee Services Hub runs effectively and efficiently to meet the demands of our global business.

You will have two direct reports and be ultimately responsible for ensuring that all employee expenses are processed on a timely and accurate basis, as well as liaising with our appointed travel providers to ensure that the correct processes are followed.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the Employee Services team managing staff, including reviews, resourcing and individual support.
  • Provide training and development opportunities, set and agree objectives and targets aligned with the business strategy.
  • Ensure daily and periodic expenses system tasks are carried out and payments made on time.
  • Take an active role in expanding the footprint of the expenses system across EMEA
  • Take an active role in the roll-out of Credit Cards across EMEA, ensure that their use complies with the Company Policy
  • Liaise with Company travel providers to ensure that their service complies with any SLA and any issues are resolved immediately
  • Ensure that the master data within any travel system is up to date and accurate

What we’re looking for

Our new Employee Services Team Leader will have demonstrable experience in the following:

  • Extremely high regard for levels of Customer Service
  • Able to effectively plan workload of self and team based on priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills.
  • Be flexible, self-motivated and a team player.
  • Strong IT skills with a good understanding of Microsoft office applications
  • Works to high standards of accuracy, quality and attention to detail.
  • Considers options available and finds best solutions to meet business needs.
