Director of Go To Market Enablement
Location: Hybrid (London or Corby)
RS Group is seeking a Director of Go-To-Market Enablement to lead the development and execution of a Group Customer Strategy that enhances regional Go-To-Market (GTM) approaches. This role is pivotal in defining customer segmentation, channel strategies, and service models to drive commercial success while balancing cost-to-serve considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy a global customer strategy, ensuring alignment with regional GTM approaches.
- Partner with senior leaders across Sales, Service, and Marketing to tailor customer engagement strategies.
- Utilize customer insights to create a data-driven segmentation strategy that informs commercial decision-making.
- Define value propositions and service models per segment, optimizing customer experience and revenue potential.
- Establish a global customer lifecycle framework, mapping key journey stages, cycle lengths, and success criteria.
- Collaborate with Marketing Excellence to align messaging, channel deployment, and customer engagement.
- Drive process, technology, and capability enhancements to support the customer strategy.
- Implement early-stage pilots and experiments to validate approaches and measure impact.
- Build a clear framework that articulates different customer types, their needs, and the commercial engagement strategy.
About You:
Our ideal candidate brings deep expertise in customer segmentation, GTM strategies, and proposition development at a global level. You should be experienced in influencing senior stakeholders, aligning cross-functional teams, and executing strategic initiatives that drive commercial impact.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in customer strategy, segmentation, or lifecycle management within a global business.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to align strategy with business growth.
- Background in marketing, sales, or service leadership, ideally in matrixed organizations.
- Data-driven mindset, using insights to inform decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across global teams.
- Project management and change leadership experience, with Lean/Six Sigma expertise as a plus.
- A strategic thinker who balances risk-taking with sound judgment.
- A collaborative leader who fosters high-performing, engaged teams.
