Digital Insight Analyst

Fixed-Term: 12 months
Location: Hybrid (London or Corby)

RS Group is seeking a Digital Insight Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will identify opportunities to enhance the digital customer experience using our current data and insight tools. Your insights will drive conversion rate optimization, shape product backlogs, and prioritize delivery and experimentation pipelines.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Serve as the lead subject matter expert and main contact for commercial optimization teams regarding digital insights.
  • Analyze current data to identify opportunities and areas for web improvement.
  • Support the creation of measurement frameworks with Product Owners to track approved KPIs.
  • Use data and commercial knowledge to support and challenge the Digital Optimization teams in decision-making and development pipeline.
  • Produce dashboards highlighting key customer paths and tracking specific page KPIs, such as add-to-carts and bounce rates.
  • Conduct regular in-depth analysis on KPI performance across the digital experience.
  • Provide weekly reporting and understanding of digital KPIs across domains (Red/Amber/Green status).
  • Build close working relationships with Product Management, Experimentation, MarTech (data layer), and Business Insights teams.
  • Review and analyze the competitor landscape to generate new insights for the digital delivery teams.
     

About you
The Digital Insight Analyst is critical in optimizing online experiences to achieve commercial targets.
As we focus on areas with the largest commercial impact, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics (preferred) or Google Analytics
  • Search platform and search user journey experience
  • Ability to manipulate large datasets using visualization tools such as PowerBi
  • Experience with omnichannel, multi-touch attribution
  • Strong problem-solving skills and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to large groups at all levels
  • Experience in a digital-oriented business
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects
  • Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Agile and continuous product discovery methodologies
