This role is offered on a hybrid basis, which involves a combination of working from our offices, and also remotely.

A bit about what you enjoy doing to be successful in this role…
- To provide a first-class customer experience, covering and managing customer enquiries & customer orders in line with the service level agreement, managing the agreed process flow and communications between RS and the customer.
- This individual will take ownership for the relationship development with this specific customer, being the dedicated point of contact for them nationally.
- To ensure all customer orders are acknowledged, all goods are delivered on time and in full. Where orders are delayed, to ensure customers are aware and alternative solutions proposed.
- Beyond owning the customer relationship, you will also work closely with Key and National Account Managers to identify onsite opportunities and operate within the governance supplier frameworks, negotiating the most effective buy price to meet the customer’s needs.
- Specifically, you will also deal with inbound customer enquiries, inbound customer orders, the placing of purchase orders and card payments, as well as the placing of collect orders at RS branches where applicable.
What skills and experience would help you to be a success…
- A customer-focused individual wanting to provide a first-class experience and being able to take ownership and initiative.
- Can do attitude, who can think creatively, working with various teams to support customer account development.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines whilst maintaining and delivering an exceptional hight level service to the customer.
- Capable of negotiating and extracting the best cost and delivery from suppliers demonstrating commercial awareness.
