Content Quality Manager
Location: Corby (Hybrid)

As the Content Quality Manager, you will be integral to delivering a robust content strategy and ensuring the seamless execution of RS Pro (our proprietary brand) item page content. Your role will ensure that our content meets the highest standards of quality, aligns with our brand vision, and resonates with our target audience. By collaborating with third-party content providers and cross-functional teams, you will drive the timely launch of new products. Your exceptional writing skills, strategic thinking, and keen attention to detail will play a critical role in enhancing our brand presence, engaging customers, and boosting sales and conversion rates.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives, brand guidelines, and target audience.
  • Oversee the creation and publishing of high-quality, engaging, and SEO-friendly content, including product descriptions, long-form content, compelling visuals, item attributions, technical data sheets, and filters.
  • Monitor key content quality metrics such as engagement rates, visits, revenue, conversion rates, and operational KPIs to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Provide regular performance reports (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) on RS Pro item page engagement, content quality, and KPIs, while developing action plans to optimize customer experience and achieve objectives.
  • Ensure effective planning and coordination, guaranteeing all teams receive timely and relevant information for content production.
  • Collaborate with the RS Pro category team, third-party content providers, and internal teams to align content with the annual digital strategy and product assortment plan.
  • Facilitate clear communication with stakeholders on short-term objectives, conducting weekly planning meetings to monitor project progress and address any risks.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform content development and identify growth opportunities.
  • Work with Digital Merchandising Managers to leverage customer insights across the business, identifying areas to boost item page traffic and conversion.
  • Utilize your presentation and influencing skills to advocate for content quality in meetings and cross-departmental discussions.
  • Serve as a deputy for the RS Pro Manager in relevant meetings when required.
  • Act as the primary contact for external suppliers as needed.
  • Manage daily relationships with RS Pro category managers, digital product owners, the photography studio, new product teams, and third-party partners.

What We’re Looking For:

Technical Skills

  • Proven experience in a B2B or B2C digital content or eCommerce role.
  • Proficiency in tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Trends, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape, including both B2B and B2C environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting data and insights effectively.
  • Familiarity with content management systems.
  • Knowledge of digital content quality KPIs and strategies to enhance performance.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and issues to improve user and customer experience.
  • Ability to influence the digital product roadmap to ensure optimized customer experiences.
