EMEA Delivery supports EMEA to prioritise, plan and deliver its major projects and programmes, ensuring they’re aligned to strategy & group objectives and making change a positive experience that achieves better results.

Sitting in the EMEA Region, EMEA Delivery provides expertise in Project Management, PMO and Change Management.

The EMEA Portfolio includes projects and programmes in the Commercial and Product & Supply Chain business areas, which consist of Sales, Customer Services, Margin, Marketing, Sales & Service Effectiveness, Value Added Solutions, Supply Chain and Product & Supplier Management.

 

We are looking for an experienced Change Manager to support the adoption of changes within the EMEA Delivery Portfolio.

The purpose of this role is to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to lead and execute all aspects of change management including impact analysis, planning, coaching, communication, training, and preparing sponsors and managers for their roles in supporting the adoption and sustainability of the change.

This role reports into the Head of Change Management – EMEA. The role holder is expected to ‘matrix manage’ large numbers of individuals, across different functions and geographies to successfully deliver the changes required to realise benefits.

The role requires a passionate and highly driven change professional who will focus on the people side of change working to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilisation of and proficiency with the changes that impact people.

 

You will lead the following:

  • Creation and implementation of change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and usage and minimise resistance.
  • Engagement with market and function leaders, working closely to ensure changes are understood, supported and adopted.
  • Creation and monitoring of the change plan including change heatmap.
  • Facilitation and Leadership of change; setting up the processes and change structures, and developing change leadership throughout the organisation.

 

What you will do:

  • Apply change management methods and tools to create a strategy and plans to support adoption of the required changes, which will lead to the realisation of the identified benefits.
  • Provide change leadership guidance, coaching and support to the Project Sponsors, Business Owners and Managers.
  • Engage with other programmes and projects to understand cross-functional dependencies and synergies and manage the impact on the people side of change.
  • Align with the wider EMEA Delivery team for governance, to share successes and to get support when required.

 

The key stakeholders this role will be engaging with are Sponsors, Business Owners, Project Managers, Project Team, Change Champions and Team members in business areas impacted by the respective changes.  

 

Key activities for projects or programmes in the EMEA Portfolio:

  • Create and implement Change Management strategies, approach and plans to deliver effective, sustainable change, integrating change management activities into the project plan.
  • Contribute to the definition of success metrics to measure adoption, track benefit realisation and support the creation of sustainability plans.
  • Define the impact of the change, contributing to the EMEA Change Impact Heatmap, and build the detailed Impact Of Change Assessment.
  • Lead the delivery of Communication & Engagement Plans to create awareness, build desire for the change and drive the desired mindsets and behaviours.
  • Lead the Training / Coaching Plans to build the skills and mindsets to successfully adopt the change.
  • Provide hands-on change management delivery and support for regional and global, multi-functional changes, including the development of the ‘to be’ future state, the impact of change assessment, change plans, business readiness planning, training plans, communications, and stakeholder engagement, to time, cost and quality.
  • Manage resistance to change and coach leaders to identify and plan for resistance in their teams.
  • Design and execute People Readiness Assessments to ensure the different teams are prepared to adopt the change, and define the Support Plan to reinforce the new processes and behaviours on the handover to business as usual.
  • Coach and facilitate leaders of change to ensure adoption of sustainable change across functions and geographies.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues and inter-project dependencies associated with Change Management.
  • Share successes and lessons learn with other delivery teams and contribute to building and improving the Change Management best practices in EMEA.

 

What we are looking for from you:

 

  • Proven Change Management experience delivering large scale change programmes and projects for a global company.
  • Strong focus on effective and engaging Change Management, and exposure to formalised change methodologies and/or certified Change Management qualifications e.g. PROSCI.
  • Proven track record of leading and coaching teams through uncertainty and making change stick.
  • Experience of working with a variety of delivery methodologies including waterfall/Agile/hybrid.
  • Strong team facilitation skills - able to manage and motivate people at all levels in the organisation.
  • Strong inter-personal skills, able to provide robust challenge but also build supportive relationships with delivery teams and senior management across geographies.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels of the business and to various stakeholder groups, both in writing and verbally.
  • Able to challenge constructively, build credibility and work with integrity at all levels within the organisation.
  • High degree of collaboration across the organisation at all levels.
  • Positive, ‘can do’ approach and open minded to new ways of working.
  • Awareness of cultural environments and able to adapt approach accordingly.
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English, with knowledge of another European language welcomed.
  • Excellent planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to effectively use SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Yammer and Teams.
